On the 21st of May hundreds of organizations and groups from all over the world have implemented different activities, including discussions, walk tours, contests etc within “Walk the World” action which has the purpose to concentrate people’s attention on the problem of children hunger in the world.
   “”Burg” Youth Environmental Center” NGO has been chosen as a Local Agency for organization of “Walk the World” action in Armenia.
   Within this action we have done:
    1.Fruit tree planting in SOS Children House on the 14th of May – We think that the best solution of children hunger is creation of alternative sources of food for them. In this small action near 100 fruit trees were planted in the territory of the SOS Children House by the volunteers of our NGO and children of Children House. Every child planted one tree near their apartment and took a responsibility to care of it during some years.


    2. Eco and walk tour Yerevan – Yeghvard – Zoravan – Bujakan – Yerevan–One of the main steps of the “Walk the World” action was organization of walk tours in every corner of the world with the purpose to show to all leaders of countries and decision makers our co-solidarity in the fight against child hunger. On 21st of May, our volunteers organized an eco and walk tour, walked near 4-5km, have been near churches st. Astvatsatsin and st. Zoravor.



   More than 100 people participated in our actions.
